I know what you're thinking...

"oh my word, Jill's blogging?!!? I thought she fell off the face of the planet after having that second baby!"

but I didn't. Im just the laziest person ever and do NOT feel like sitting down and typing out thoughts. I prefer to stalk people on Facebook, flip through endless pages of interesting images on Pinterest, and look at blogs, but not write my own =) that takes too much effort and thought...and right now this little girl gets most my energy

well really both these little girls =)

however, I told myself recently that I needed to blog. Our teaching pastor at church recently tweeted something along these lines, that "we were created in the image of our Creator and thus are happy when we are using our creativity or being creative." I realized that since Quinn was born I have been in what I refer to as survival mode and haven't had much time to do some of the things that I had time and energy to do in the past. One of those being crafting and another being blogging. I decided to get back into both! and I have to say, I do love using my hands and working my mind in aspects other than mothering. Its just taken me time to a) figure out my days, which has come with time and Q is now 8 weeks old so Im getting used to stuff...and b) get enough sleep so that I have energy to do said crafts and blogging.

one of the things I have "crafted" was something I had saved in my bookmarks MONTHS ago! I finally was inspired to buy the rest of the supplies and get to work! I'll do a tutorial on it later this week so that you too can make your own sunburst mirror for only about $20! I was pretty pumped about the final cost considering i wanted this one from Ballard that was $350!

Well the bachelorette is almost over (yes I watch this amazing train wreck and love every minute of it) so Im going to wrap up and get into bed before my sweet girl wakes up to eat again. I'll hopefully keep up this week with some more posting. Thanks to you that are glad Im back and reading again, I appreciate your interest and caring!
