Sunday was a gorgeous day and proved to be a great day too! Let me start with a
very irritating funny story.
We go to the 9 am service at our church, and this Sunday I definitely wanted to get there on time bc I was going to meet the Children's minister and get the rundown of the Kids area and whatnot. Justin rolls over and says, "Babe, its 815." I said, "ok, two more minutes and I'll get up." In my head I'm thinking, "man, Im sleeping so good. Is it really 815?" So I get up a couple minutes later, go into the living room, turn off the alarm, try to get Fred up, so he'll go out and pee, and then head to the bathroom. I put in my contacts, and brush my teeth, head to the bedroom and tell Justin he needs to get up and I'm going in to get Kennedy up. He says, oh what time is it, and I look at the clock, and its 6:33!!!!! I jumped on top of him and began to beat him with my fist in his leg for waking me up TWO HOURS EARLY! If I was now awake, he had to wake up too. Of course I tried to get back to sleep, but at the point, I had already woken myself up good, and was not going to just fall back asleep. Thank the LORD I did not go wake up the baby. Ridiculous...
Sooooo, we did make it to church. I fell back asleep, but it took me a while, so I was pretty tired on the way to church bc the sleepy was finally kicking in. The kids in that children's program are awesome, SO fun and full of energy. Afterwards, we headed home to get Fred, bc we were spending the afternoon at my parents so Justin could paint a room for my mom. On the ride over, K threw on her sunglasses and read her Elmo book. So funny.
Justin ended up not painting bc we looked everywhere for a ladder, and then realized my dad had brought it over to our house to do some work, and left it in the garage. Wish we would have known that and just brought it with us. Oh well.
We grilled some chicken and had a good lunch and then K went down for a nap and I laid in the sun and soaked in some rays. Ahhhh, to be laying out the beginning of March. I forgot what that was like! Im pretty sure its some where around 40-50 degrees in Cincinnati and I do not miss that cold weather! Another great thing about the warm weather...Kennedy wore a super cute sundress today, with...jelly shoes. So awesome. She kept looking at her feet. I think she really liked her new kicks.

She must have run around for at least an hour just giggling and loving the wide open yard. She is a big ball of energy. We got home and were all on the bed and she was jumping and rolling, even AFTER all that running at Nanny's, and I thought, "man, remember
ten five years ago when I could go and go and go, like the energizer bunny..."
I have been thinking lately about how my baby girl has now become a big girl. From the way she feeds herself, and her little curls in her hair, to her ability to communicate what she wants and if she cant she throws a hissy fit. I do officially, have a toddler now. I know that part of toddlerhood, is accidents. She has bruises and bumps all over her. Check out her first boobooed knee.
Well, I hope you all had a fantastic Sunday with your families. We are going to eat some chili cheese dip and introduce Kennedy to another disney film, Cars. I have watched Bolt WAY too much the past few weeks. We are in need of a new movie.
Aunt Afton comes in just three days! WOO HOO!
