You may have noticed, but I pretty much never post without some sort of picture, but today, I HAVE NONE! AH! We traveled down to FL on Sunday afternoon to be in my hometown for a couple days. Well I forgot my camera cord, so for now, no pictures, but when I get back, there will be a TON!
Like I said, we are in FL, after a very looonnnnngggg trip on Sunday. It takes about 11 hours to get here from Cincy, with the baby and all, and we didnt even get to leave Ohio until 130. it was a crazy night, justin kept saying, "I dont know if Im gonna make it Jill." No worries, we did. Kennedy was great. Her sleeping was a little crazy that night because once we got to my parents she woke up, which was at 1 in the morning, so she was a little confused. She went back to sleep, but woke up about every two hours needing her pacifier and assurance that it was indeed night time and she should continue sleeping. I didnt get a whole lot sleep that night =/
We have only been her one day and it seems like 4 because we packed SO much into yesterday. A photo shoot, lunch, visiting my sister, a baseball game, a playdate with my friend Heather's new baby girl, our daily trip to Target of course, we played in the baby pool outside, and then Taco night and a visit from Aunt Sandi. My girl was TIRED! and so was her momma! She had such a great day though and was seen by so many people who love her. I am sooo excited about our photo shoot! My friend Tara is AMAZING and I always love the pictures she takes, especially of Kennedy.
So we have semi full day planned. hopefully Kennedy will get some rest and take at least one of her naps so she is happy. I dont know how she got through yesterday in that good of a mood, with little rest, but im thankful for it! We are very excited about leaving for Atlanta tomorrow for the Orange Conference we get to see Justin's sisters and mom and the conference is going to SO great, I just know. I probably wont be posting a whole lot since Im busy with family now, and then the conference the rest of the week but ill be back soon, and WITH pictures.
have a great week everyone!

Kennedy & Friends
We are blessed with so many wonderful couples of friends and it was only natural that we would want our little ones to be play mates. Kennedy LOVES other babies and so I have been collecting some pictures of her and her little friends to introduce you to some of her buddies that she plays with =)
This is my friend Jenny's little girl, Kaylyn, she really likes to give hugs and kisses...

Claire, Jimmy and Julie's little one

I take care of Chase and Hallie two days a week and this is one of the many times KP and Hallie were playing tug a war

Charlie, who is a candidate for Kennedy's future boyfriend. He is already protective, and I like that!

And here is a picture we took at the Christmas party last year. My child was SO jaundice! I thought she just looked tan, but compared to all these little white babies, she is definitely yellow!

Im glad she has so many great friends! As long as she doesnt forget who her BEST friend is...

fun at the park
Kennedy's first time at the park was a couple weeks ago, and I took her without Justin. =/ He was a little sad to miss out on the experience, but we made up for it this last weekend. Friday, we took Kennedy to a beautiful park here in town. Kennedy was so cute lounging in the sun. I think she really likes the sun, just like her momma! But no worries, she was covered in sunscreen. We packed a picnic, and enjoyed the nice weather and then we walked over to the playground for her to swing. The swinging wasnt nearly as exciting as it was the first time, I think she was a little worn out by the time we got to the swings. It was such a great day though with my two favorite people. I love that Justin has Fridays off and we get to be together all day!
Here are a couple pictures of her first time at the park, she really liked the sand. Hmm, so she likes sun, sand, and her baths, so she likes water. Where can I find sun sand and water...
Anyway, onto pictures.
She couldnt fit in the swing really, and I didnt bring any blankets this day, so we improvised =) yes, that is her little friend Kaylyn behind her

we love you Poppa!
Well today is my dad's birthday. He loves his little Special K (that's his nickname for her) so we thought we would give him a little love from up here. We love you daddy and hope you have an awesome birthday!
I know I put two pictures, but her laughing one was cute and you can see her teefers, but it was a little blurry. plus i just love her, and whats the harm in MORE pictures!?!?!?
Ok, so also today was Kennedy's 6 month check up. She did fantastic on everything. She did a little hearing test, and then got her shots, which I hate more than she does. the dr always seems impressed by her which of course makes me proud and happy. She weighed in at 16 pounds and 26 inches long. She's a growin' girl.

Happy 6 Month's Kennedy!
I cannot believe I have a 6 MONTH OLD! AH! where did the time go. I was talking to my friend Jo the other day about if it really feels like its been six months or not. In some ways, I feel like I just had her, and in others, it almost feels longer. Like I seriously feel like I have been nursing for two years or something. It's been six months, and I planned to do this a year, and I cant believe we are only half way there, oh dear Lord. On the other hand, I remember the day she was born like I just did it a couple weeks ago or something. Then I think about how much I love her, and I how I feel like I have known her forever! but it's really only been 6 months. Whatever the case, she IS 6 months old, and it has been the best 6 months of my life! Oh, and please excuse the PJ pictures, we didnt get out of these all day. It was just a rainy, stay at home all day in your pj's, kind of day...

You may think that the little sign I made, is a little far away, but she loves to play with paper for some reason, and she loves to put it and everything else, in her mouth

Kennedy with her Easter baskets from all her grandparents. Thanks everyone! She loves all the goodies and the dancing bunny!

Kennedy's first Easter
Easter Sunday was an absolute beautiful day, and even though it started out so very cold, by the time we were out of church it was nice and warm and the sunshine felt so good! Kennedy and I had a crazy morning trying to get ready and out the door, but we made it to church. She was absolutely gorgeous in her little Easter dress, I could not have been a more proud momma off how cute she was. It brings me so much joy to see everyone checking her out, and smiling, and telling me that she is beautiful. God made her, and she is incredible, would you expect any different? She was so happy the whole morning, and even fell asleep on me for a bit, so I layed her in the pack n play thats in the nursery so I could go lead in the kidzone. After church we headed home and I was so excited to give Kennedy her easter basket, not that she cared too much, but she was into it. She was trying to pull everything out before I could even get a picture.
Here's is what the Easter Bunny brought me!
So Jin and Lisa came over for Easter lunch and we grilled steaks. A very nice day for grilling I must say. They took a family picture for us. Forgive my appearance, I was weathered by this point after hitting the grocer and making dinner.
Well Kennedy went down for a nice long nap and let the grown ups enjoy a late lunch. Afterwards I took her outside to get some more pictures of her, of course. I just like this cute little outfit her Nana Myra got for her...
Also, Justin and I went to church on Saturday night. We never get to just GO to church and sit in it together and enjoy being ministered to because he works at our church and Im in the kidzone doing what I do best, acting a fool for k-6 singing and dancing. This is just a picture of me and my girl headed to church. We are in love...if you didnt know...
well this isnt a one stop shop, sorry, if you want to see all the pictures you will have to look on facebook at album for the whole shabang. Hope everyone had a great Easter!

could she get any cuter?
I know you are probably all thinking that I take WAY too many pictures of Kennedy, and you are probably right. But I just cant help it! She is such a good little model that I cant stop. ah! so I hope you understand that Im just in love with her! Also, my mom wants pictures everyday, and Jo has requested that I take a picture of Kennedy in every outfit she owns.
Ok, so this was Kennedy's runner up Easter dress. Im not even sure where I got it, or who gave it to me. It was hard to pick because she looks cute in everything!
This one is for you mom, another one of my old dresses

and I told you I would try and get a picture of her teefers. Its a little difficult to do but I tried. They are there though! She had a rough night but I think she is good to go now...

We are so excited about Kennedy's first Easter tomorrow. I just love holidays, and I love giving presents. I am so excited to give Kennedy her first Easter basket, and I cant wait for the years to come playing the Easter Bunny. I hope you all have a great Easter being with your family, or hunting eggs, hiding eggs, whatever you may be doing, but mostly, celebrating our Risen Savior. I am so thankful that my Jesus is ALIVE and living in ME!

Good Friday to Ya!
For the past month I have been listening to Phil Wickham. My favorite CD of his is Singalong, I just like Live versions of worship songs. Anyway, this song True Love, is one of my favorites. Today is Good Friday, the day that Christians remember what Christ did on the cross for us, and how He set us free. I pray that this song will help you in meditating on that today. The coolest part of the song is the end...Jesus is ALIVE...the tomb could not contain Him...
ps- i wanted to just post an audio file but I dont know how, so i found this video. do you know how to do it?

Teefers and Highchairs
Little Miss Kennedy has had a lot going on lately. A couple months ago she started rolling over and that is just SO exciting to her! She is always so proud of herself. Then soon after that she learned to sit up all by her little self. Mommy was there to help, she was still a bit wobbly. She is such a talker, I know shocker right? I dont know where she gets it, I guess she just likes the sound of her voice =) This week she started saying Dadadadadada, ALL THE TIME! Im all about it just being a baby thing. All babies do it. They dont know what they are saying, or who they are referring to. Of course Justin is dead set on it being because she thinks he is AWESOME, and loves him so much. Im sure that when she knows what she is saying and is trying to cry out for someone, it will be "Mama."
Also, as of today, Kennedy has TWO tiny little teefers! They are so cute =) The bottom two, to be specific. She is a real trooper. No crying or fussyness or fever/sicky of any kind. If I can ever get a picture of them Ill show them off, but its a little difficult to get her to open wide for the camera. I see them best when she is fussing, and thats not really the time to go grab the camera and take a quick pic...
Ok well we have tried a whole lot of foods!
squash, check
bananas, check
pears, check
carrots, check
sweet potatoes, check
green beans, CHECK!
She liked everything, and ate it so well. I was nervous about the greens, a lot of kids gag, but not KP she is an eater. Again, I dont know WHERE in the world she gets this from???

And lastly, here is a picture of Kennedy sitting like a big girl in a HIGH CHAIR! I know, i get excited easily. I was so happy that she got to get out of her pumpkin seat tho and sit at the table with us though. She just wants to be a part of it all, but I cant let her sit in my lap anymore because she grabs EVERYTHING! Ill never forget my poppyseed dressing all over the table at Norma's =/ So now when we are eating, she can sit AT the table with us. It's just more fun that way.

Im a proud momma! I just love my girl. Thank you Jesus for her...

Vlogging...
Hey y'all. So Justin and I (and by that I mean me mostly) made a VLOG. Yes, a Vlog. We call it that by the request of my husband. It's a video blog of little home videos, mostly Kennedy of course. Well, Im a little nervous about random people being able to just watch our baby girl, I guess I watch too much Dateline. I have to invite you to be a member of the blog in order for you to see the super cute videos. Once you accept, you can watch her in action! Aunt Jo, Bubba, maybe some more of you, are probably confused on how to post a comment of your email, so if its easier, just email me and Ill use that address you email me from.
Jillian2861@hotmail.com
I have 2 or 3 emails for some people so I want to make sure Im inviting you using the email you CURRENTLY use. It will just be a little easier this way. So yea, just post your email address and Ill send an invite to our VLOG!

where are you spring? stop hiding from me...its not funny anymore
Well I dont have too much to really write about this lovely SNOWY Tuesday. Yes, you read correctly, its snowing. What in the world? I just want spring to come and stick around. I LOVE springtime and I keep getting so excited when I think it may be time to get all my spring clothes out, and then the next day, its 30 degrees and SNOWING!
Anywho, since I dont have too much to update you on I will mainly just post pictures. So, this first one is of Kennedy in MY dress. I think this is just crazy. When I was pregnant my mom brought up a bag of clothes that were her favorites of mine and I looked through them and kept the ones I thought I might actually put on Kennedy, that were sort of classics, or timeless if you will. I was an 80's baby so much of the stuff was sent home with my mom. scary stuff. This one was springy and easter like so I thought I would do a little Easter fashion show. She has some more dresses as well so Ill have to try to have some more photo shoots with my little model.
This is her "mommy do I look pretty?" face.
my happy girl
In a previous post I mentioned my craft project for Kennedy's room. As you can see, Ive become a little obsessed with putting bows and flowers on her. She has no hair and I need her to look girly basically, because Im pretty girly. Yesterday when it was freezing, I even put one on her beanie. Im crazy! So I made her a little thing to hold her bows. Im pretty satisfied with how it turned out...
Well my girl continues to grow so quickly before my very eyes. Ill have to post tomorrow all about her NEW things! It's just crazy how fast it all happens! AH! SLOW DOWN and stay little forever please!!!!

Is that a bunny in my yard???
So this past weekend was jam packed with so many fun events. Fridays are my favorite because Justin has off of work, score. We lounged around the house and caught up on all of TV shows that we had DVRed and missed earlier in the week, and then I headed off to the grocer. We have this fancy shmancy Kroger in town, and every time I go it's sample day (maybe its a friday thing, now that I think about it.) Well grocery shopping is so much more fun when you get to eat all the food...I have now decided that every Friday I need to go to Kroger for the yummy samples. That night was Taco night and some friends came over and we had a little fiesta with some James Bond on the side. I was ubber excited about Saturday because earlier in the week a friend called and said that a school in her district was doing a fundraiser where you paid $5 and you were served a waffle breakfast and the Easter bunny was going to be there for photos! I was so excited. I wanted to take KP to see the Easter Bunny but Justin thought it was dumb and I shouldnt spend money on it, and this way I got to, because technically, you were paying for breakfast =) So I got to get her picture with the super creepy odd looking bunny...see picture below, he really is weird looking, not the best bunny suit...
I took a lot more good pictures that Ill put on facebook if you want to see them all. After the bunny visit I did some shopping at Hob Lob. Over the past couple weeks, I have bought many a bows and flower clips from the good ole Etsy.com. Im in the process of creating a bow holder because they are just laying all over her dresser in her room and need a place to go right?!?!?! So I got some stuff at Hob Lob and Ill have to keep you posted on how that goes. Im attempting the craftiness. After we got home we had some more friends over to grill out because although it is a very nice weekend, tomorrow its supposed to snow maybe? what in the world. Crazy Ohio weather. We thought we should take advantage tho and do some grilling while we can.
Well today after church and lunch, Kennedy and I came home, and there was something in my yard. From the post title you can guess it. It was a bunny! and if you look closely on the bunny's shoulder you can see that the bunny happened to have carrots for lunch today, and then spit carrots up on herself. (by the way, I did not plan the carrot eating, I just grabbed a veggie and it so happened to be carrots, the day she was dressed up like a bunny, ha!) sorry i posted soooo many, i just thought they were all cute!

baby toes
have i ever mentioned that i love this girl...i really do. sometimes i am holding her and i am so overwhelmed with love i literally cry because i feel so blessed. just thought you should know...
there are a lot of things that i love about spring, especially since moving to Ohio. In Florida warm weather wasnt anything to get too excited about, it was pretty warm all year round. Now I look forward to that first sign of spring when I finally put on a pair of flip flops. I also love the trees and flowers up here. I dont remember this kind of spring back home. I see trees here that ive never seen before, and all the flowers are amazing! It really is the most beautiful time of year. Everything that was dead come backs to life. It reminds me of a Nicole Nordeman song I like "Every Season."
And everything that’s new has bravely surfaced
Teaching us to breathe
What was frozen through is newly purposed
Turning all things green
So it is with You
And how You make me new
With every season’s change
And so it will be
As You are re-creating me
Summer, autumn, winter, spring
Anyway, I have a new thing that makes my list of reasons to love spring, my babies toes. Now Kennedy can wear her springy summer clothes, and they are all soooo cute! I love seeing her chunker munker legs and her little baby toes all kicking around. She enhances everything in life now, she makes everything even more beautiful.
