We had a long, yummy dinner, which was so nice to just sit and stare out at the beach and enjoy a meal, sans toddler needing to be fed and entertained. I did miss her, but it was nice to have a stress free meal. We took our time, and even got dessert! Which was AMAZING =) I love saving room for dessert. Afterwards we walked around the boardwalk and then headed back to the condo so we could take a walk on the beach before it got dark. Then we headed upstairs and played Super Mario Bros Wii until my fingers got cramped up and I just couldnt play anymore...dont worry Princess Peach, I will rescue you evenutally...
Saturday we woke up and I was adamant about going for a bike ride on the island. I always see people cycling around and well, I wanted to be one of those people! We got on our bikes and first rode to see my Aunt Joann at her boat. She owns a Dolphin Cruise's co. called Chase N Fins and so I knew she would be out trying to use whatever weekends of nice water we have left. We hung out with her for a little bit and she signed us up for the 5 o clock time while we were there too!
We rode our bikes down to Fort Pickens, just the front gate, which was already about a miles. Justin wanted to go onto the Fort, but I was just hoping I could make it back, much less go farther and then have to turn around and come back...good heavens...
I have decided that now I want a beach cruiser. Maybe like this pink one, but with a basket, bc if you noticed, Im carrying a shoulder bag, or as Justin called it, my European leather satchel. A basket would have been much better.

We headed back to our room, but not before getting a cold slushy for this momma. Bike riding makes me thirsty, and it makes my butt hurt, but I did have SO much fun! We went for a swim and relaxed by the pool before heading back to the boat for the dolphin cruise.
The cruise was AWESOME. We saw SO many dolphins and they were incredible and beautiful and so very playful =) They really are the most beloved sea life...however I really enjoy sea turtles and manatees as well. In case you were wondering, which Im sure you were.
After the cruise, we met my parents and my sweet baby K, at Crabs. I was so excited to see my girl! it had been a day and a half people! I LOVE HER! It was nice to have her back =) I wanted to have Sunday to play at the pool and beach with her so it was great that my parents brought her out to us.
Sunday we all slept in and then went down to the pool before packing up and heading out. My baby looovvvees the water, but we eventually got her out and ready to leave.
We went down to Fort Pickens before leaving the beach bc like I told you, Justin wanted to go see it, and be educated about it. It was 97 degrees, but we toughed it out for at least 15 minutes while my husband walked around and read all the plaques. I hope he feels more knowledgeable...
who is that naked baby?!?!?
I love mini vacations, even if they are in my own city. We had fun being touristy and seeing the sights...and I do have to say, I like hanging out with my husband =) he's the funnest
