This weekend wasnt nearly as jam packed and busy as last...so I dont think I took pictures of anything or remember too much of what we did. I do however, have a TON from last weekend that I have yet to share, so lets see if I can remember all that fun!
Does YOUR credit union host a movie day back to school party?!?! Well mine does! My sister happens to work there too, so the perks are endless for us. We went to the Silver Screen on Saturday and watched Despicable Me. hilarious...by the way...
They even had bottomless popcorn and coke. My brother in laws came and brought my nieces and nephews too. The whole fam was there! It was so great!
cant say I've watched a Movie at this joint since oh...1999
Afterwards we went to Sonny's. Kids eat free Saturday! We had the whole back patio to ourselves, considering there were like 15 of us...The kids had fun running around and doing a little song and dance for us.
Who would have thought Chik fil A would have been the place to be last Saturday??!?!?! It was PRINCESS NIGHT! and well, my child has recently become OBSESSED with Princesses. My mom and Sandi called and told me and I really did not feel like going, but Im so glad we did bc Kennedy had a great time and she does love being a princess and seeing princesses. She did NOT however, enjoy the cow costume dude...
Princess Tiana, Belle, and Sleeping Beauty...They werent necessarily the real thing, but K didnt know =)
with our Princess. justin said he didnt understand why wings were "princess" but the tag on them said "Princess Wings"
riding in the carriage! fancy eh?! Im telling ya, Chik went allll out
and a bounce house! Kennedy LOVES these. We will SO be having one of these at her party, barring rain of course
Later that night we headed over to Sandi and Clinton's for yummy dinner. I LOVE when people invite us over for dinner bc well, most people cook better than I do...and I dont have to do any work =) It's always a good time at their house though!
Kennedy and Papa picking scuppernongs...I think that's what they are called anyway
Sunday was a special day bc our good friends from Cincinnati came over from their vacation in Destin, to visit! It was beyond fabulous to get to see them. I miss all our Cincinnati family sooo stinkin much. Good thing we are going there this weekend bc I cant take it any longer. I need to see them all! Anyways, we took them to the Oar house, Kennedy had fun feeding the ducks while we were waiting on our food.
Noah, Rick, and Justin
The Anderson's! and us too. I really love them!
After they left, we headed over to my great-niece (yes I have one, not bc Im old but bc my parents are older and I was born late, hence, things happened at weird times) Anyways, I made some bakerella cake pops to take. My first time. They turned out alright, more cute than tasty.
The birthday girl! Enjoying some cake I think =)
Kennedy giving Hayleigh a big hug
Kennedy enjoyed herself at the party. So many goodies!
I told you it was a busy weekend. Im surprised we fit all that in just two days, but it was fun. Thankfully this past weekend was much more relaxing and the weekend coming up is so exciting. I cant wait to see my Ohio friends soon! oh, and did I mention, Im 27 tomorrow...yikes!
