i heart my in laws

Justin's parents just left after an amazing weekend having great talks, eating awesome food, watching good movies, and lots of dress up, games, and snuggles with their granddaughters. I always hate when they leave. Its so nice to have them here. I have told Justin before that I think the biggest perk of marrying him was getting them. They are really THAT awesome. I love having Myra around to talk to and laugh with, and the girls LOVE her. She has so much energy and stamina to keep up with my crazy K and all the patience and love needed to cuddle and calm Quinn whenever she needs it. Floyd is such a good example of what a good dad and a good husband is and I love that Justin has him as a father. Its so great when he is around to pour into him. Justin loves hanging out with his dad and being around him. He's so easy going and hilarious!

Thursday night at the Bulls game

We had such a blast in Durham that night. We went to Mellow Mushroom and then headed over to the game. We were exhausted after the day but it was worth the fun!

this girl LOVES her Nana!

One, Two, THREE Strikes your out!

Silly Quinn. So cute =)

So we talked Kennedy into taking a picture with Wool E. Bull, we got in line, and then she chickened out. So I felt stupid that we were standing there and then she just took off. Thus, the picture of me and Quinn with Wool E. Bull. HA!

Friday we hung around the house for a while and then headed to lunch and the store. Then Floyd and Myra kept the kids so Justin and I could have a little movie date. We went and saw Crazy, Stupid, Love. It was a cute movie and I am always up for a little Ryan Gosling time alone with my man =)

Saturday we took Kennedy to the Marbles Museum. She loves that place and its so cheap. It has so much pretend play and its very interactive. She enjoys more of it every time we go bc as she gets older she really gets into the pretending. I forgot my camera when we went to the museum so hopefully Myra sends me the ones off her iphone. Kennedy was a super cute pirate at one point =)

Afterwards we drove around downtown for a bit and then decided on some BBQ for lunch and headed home. We came home and unwound from the busy morning and then Myra came upstairs to tell me that she was taking me and dropping me off to get a pedicure while she shopped with the girls. UM...YES PLEASE! It was so nice to have a relaxing moment to myself. I grabbed some gossip magazines and just zoned out. It was AMAZING. We grabbed some Chili's-to-go after that and headed home to watch The Adjustment Bureau. It was a good movie I must say. A recommended one for you all. Kennedy got Rango...not a recommended one...

a very smitten Papaw

So today we had church and then headed out for lunch before getting them home to pack up the car and LEAVE US!!!!! How dare they! Kennedy is definitely getting more and more sad each time they are here and she realizes when they are leaving. Its such a blessing having good family, and having them around. I wish it happened more!
